位於信義路、金山南路口的東門市場，啟用至今已近90年，當地里長李淑珍昨向市長柯文哲陳情指，東門市場建物老舊、巷弄雜亂，希望將市場外一併都更。不過，柯文哲為難地說，除都更牽涉私有土地，市場搬遷需設中繼市場，「市場去哪裡，垃圾就來了。」擔憂引發居民不滿。

李淑珍指出，據她了解，位於金山南路二段30巷旁的國產署空地約有2400坪，可作為商家遷移中繼市場，市場周遭私地主也有7成願意都更，希望市府能積極籌畫東門市場周邊改建案。
